The “Motherfuckin’ Gaslamp Killer
The Gaslamp Killer (William Bensussen), Los Angeles based DJ/Producer, Low End Theorist, and Dublab Radio resident, is not your conventional artist. What separates him from the rest of the herd is his extensive knowledge in psychedelic rock, demonic bass-heavy Hip-Hop, Middle-Eastern/ Indian rare grooves, and ear-piercing helicopter breaks. The energy during his live sets resonates through crowds, taking you to the filthiest psyche/freak-out you’ve ever been on. He’s earned the respect of eclectic heavy-hitters and has shared the stage with Digable Planets, Broadcast, M.F. Doom, Thievery Corporation, and many others.
Mark Pritchard aka Harmonic 313
When other beings navigate the universe, Mark Pritchard’s (Harmonic 313) future funked, Bass heavy and cutting edge music will lead them to the most futuristic sounds on earth. Pritchard is one of the most respected producers in modern electronic music, having put out countless albums, tracks and remixes under a swathe of pseudonyms since the early ‘90s, including Troubleman, Jedi Knights and Global Communication.
Dizz1
Dizz1 blends Detroit hip hop with London dubstep and plenty of bass energy in the kicks and the snares. Our drummer from down under divides his time between teaching Ableton software classes, playing live with Academy lecturers and future-soul experts Steve Spacek and Mark Pritchard, and dropping heavy beats around clubs all over Australia. Hip hop is the main influence, but mix that with some bass-heavy barefoot, '60s psychedelia and Ethiopian jazz, and you know Dizzle's beats are made of the strange stuff. A right rascal indeed.
Opiuo
A self confessed music addict with a light hearted approach to life and art. Opiuo is at his best whilst hiding from the world, creating fun fueled music. Influences coming from everything, from life changing experiences, to mere cups of tea. Incorporating sounds as varied as jazz, reggae, funk, rock, psychedelia, and down right chunky goodness.
