The Beat Invitational is back bringing your ears some of the freshest beats, heaviest bass and dopest live performances that Australia and New Zealand has to offer. Straight out of the studio, live onstage, these handpicked producers will be showcasing their latest creations and unleashing their unreleased beats. Be the first to hear the future sound of Australasia's beat heads.

DIZZ1
This Red Bull graduate has been tearing it up on the drums since he was 8, cutting records since he was 17 and making beats for 7 years. DIZZ1 is a busy cat. Co-producing an album with Om'Mas Keith (SA-RA), dropping tracks on the infamous Beat Dimensions compilations and releasing his EP on non other than Nod Navigators (Kindred Spirits) and not to mention getting air play from Mary Ann Hobbs and Benji B on BBC radio 1. With an album not far from dropping be prepared for some future ish.
SEAN DEANS
Fresh of the boat back from NZ Sean Deans has been studio bound for the last 3 months working with heads like Riki Gooch and Mu (Fat Freddy's) on his debut solo album. Already dropping productions on Tiki Tane's platinum album and over 15 years experience behind the decks Sean is set to blow!
COSMO
Returning star from the first Beat Invitational, mayor of the mule stomp, banging his MPC until the bass bleeds out. Cosmo steps it up once more sporting some seriously heavy club bangers and ridiculously hype beats.
MIKE KAY
From playing keys and synths with Inner City Science Mike Kay's chops are tight and his beats are galactic. This fresh faced 22yr old, coffee fueled Ableton ninja is putting the soul in the wonk. Look out Hud Mo.. Mike Kay is here.
CHOPPER
The mysterious Chopper. Our wildcard entry. Repping the 'And Such..' family, Chopper got beats. Imported from the future and brought to you here first.. Hear them now and thank us later.
