Having erupted into the electronic music scene in 2001 with album Clarence Park under the name Chris Clark, Clark is a rare breed of producer who resists the faddish nature of the music scene in lieu of creating original and extremely high-quality noise-driven beats. Blending bespoke rhythms, colourful synth lines and masses of textured distortion, Clark describes his music as "looming, ambiguous, radiant...whole, invincible, complete". His ability to create music that appeals to your head, heart, soul and feet confirms his place as an electro-virtuoso - and one of the best producers on the planet. Clark has announced the release of his new album Iradelphic, on Warp Records (Flying Lotus/Battles/Aphex Twin/Hudson Mohawke) on April 2, which includes collaborations with Martina Topley Bird and Bibio. He traveled to Australia, Berlin, Wales, Brussels, Cornwall, Norway and London, searching for a brand new palette of sounds and inspiration to twist in to his signature Clark compositions. Describing the recording process, Chris said,"I don't think I've ever recorded in so many diverse locations; there was a lot of field recording going on in Snape, Sussex, harpsichords and orchestral drums.
